Build-a-School Night is our signature fundraising event, rallying support for our programs and the communities we serve.
We are deeply grateful for the incredible support shown at Build-a-School Night 2026: 20 Years, A Million Learners. More than 300 attendees rallied to raise more than $255,000 to invest in Building Tomorrow’s work. Thank you! Mwebale nnyo! Murakoze cyane!

What are the event details?
What is the dress code?
How does parking for the event work?
Parking in downtown Indianapolis is limited; please plan accordingly. This map shows the location of the Grand Hall and convenient parking options nearby. Valet parking the evening of Build-a-School Night will be very limited. Please plan to utilize a nearby garage or email basn@buildingtomorrow.org if you will need assistance parking closer.
When using a rideshare service, we recommend requesting drop-off/pick-up at the entrance located off of McCrea Street.
What is the dinner menu?
Can I sponsor the event or donate to the silent or live auction?
Yes! Please reach out to basn@buildingtomorrow.org with sponsorship or donation inquiries.
Can I show up to the event without a ticket?
Unfortunately, no. Build-a-School Night is a ticketed event and you must have a ticket or a seat at a sponsored table to attend.
